Garrett has worked with Mu Beta Psi in promoting music, service, and fellowship since 2006 and pledged in the Spring of 2007. This is his second term as National President. While at SUNY Oswego, he worked tirelessly to help Nu Chapter; he served in many offices including President, Chapter Maintenance Officer, Parliamentarian, and Webmaster. In addition to Mu Beta Psi, he was involved in College Choir, Festival Chorus, and The Boys Down the Hall men’s a cappella group. Garrett currently resides in Oswego, NY and teaches English at Mexico High School.

Sarah Flourance

Sarah Flourance joined Mu Upsilon Alpha, Honorary Co-Education Service Fraternity of the Rutgers University Bands in Spring 2006, and was a member of the Merger Committee that oversaw the merger of MYA into Mu Beta Psi as Pi in Fall 2007. She has served as Secretary of MYA, and Vice-President of Pi Chapter. She plays the flute, piccolo, and mellophone, and is active in the Rutgers Marching and Concert Bands at Rutgers. Sarah is pursuing degrees in French and Political Science, and will graduate in Spring 2009.

Andrew pledged Zeta Chapter in Fall 2002 with the BASSic Treble class. While at Zeta Chapter he chaired the Rushing, Scholarship and Music Committees, among others. He also played euphonium in the Michigan Tech Wind Symphony and the Huskies Pep Band, serving as the pep band's vice president in 2004-05. After transferring from Michigan Tech to Augsburg College in Minneapolis, he also played in the Augsburg Pep Band. Andrew will graduate in spring 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He works as a historical interpreter at the Minnesota Historical Society, and lives in Circle Pines, MN.

Chrissy became a Brother of Mu Chapter in Spring of 2001. During her time at Mu Chapter, she held the offices of Pledge Master, Member-at-Large, Vice President, and President. After graduating from UNC, she served three years as National Vice President of Chapter Maintenance. Chrissy is currently the President of the Alumni Association in addition to her National Secretary duties. She is married to Zeta alumnus Andrew Fleming and lives with him and their cat Louis (Armstrong, of course) in New York, where she works as Product Manager for Patch.com. She has a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and still likes to find time in her busy schedule to sing.

Jen pledged Omicron Chapter (Roanoke College) in Spring 2003 with the Gamma Pledge class. She was elected to the position of National Treasurer at National Convention 2008. Later that year, she married fellow Omicron alum Phillip Staten. They live in Suffolk, VA, where Jen is a Financial Analyst.

Nathaniel pledged Xi Chapter (St. Vincent College) in Spring 2001, and served as Chapter Member-at-Large and Sergeant-at-Arms during his three years with the Chapter. He was also a member of the SVC Pep Band, the Saint Vincent Singers, and The Company. He earned his BA in History with a minor in Political Science in Spring 2004 and completed his MA in Public History at American University in the Summer of 2006. Prior to being elected as National Historian, he served as National Secretary from 2004-2007. Nathaniel and his wife Melissa reside in Stone Ridge, VA outside of Washington, DC. He currently works as a Federal Analyst for INPUT in Reston, VA

Katherine Capehart

Katherine joined Mu Chapter (UNC-Chapel Hill) in Spring of 2007 with the Alpha Gamma class. She has previously served as Mu Chapter's Member-at-Large and President. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from UNC, and is past Editor-in-Chief of The White and Blue Literary Magazine and the Permanent Waves Literary Magazine. In 2008, she was awarded the Max Steel Prize in Fiction from UNC, and was an Honorable Mention for the William Hooks Award for Children's Literature. She resides in Oswego, NY.

Kevin pledged Zeta Chapter (Michigan Tech) in the Fall of 1994 with the Dischords. While at Zeta, he served as Intramural Activity Chair, and as Chapter Treasurer. He also served as the Alumni Association President from 2001-2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MTU, and a Master of Science in Engineering from Purdue University. After 12 years in the automotive industry, Kevin "changed gears" (pun intended), and is now a reliability engineer for Dow Corning. He resides in Saginaw, MI with his wife, Zeta alumna Jodi (Cianek) and their newest edition, daughter Claire.
