Social Policy

Article I - Planning Socials

Section 1. What is a social

  1. Socials are any event that all members of the Fraternity are invited to participate in.
    1. This includes actives, alumni, members-in-training, and even people not associated with Mu Beta Psi.
  2. These events may not have the presence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.

Section 2. Planning a social

  1. Anyone can plan a social.
  2. Contact the Social Chair with the details of your event.
  3. Service events are more important than social events and socials will have to be rescheduled if conflicts occur.

Article I - Social Conduct

Section 1. Conduct Guidelines

  1. Brothers are encouraged to wear letters.
  2. Brothers are also encouraged to take pictures for the scrapbook and to share them to the Historian.
  3. Be inclusive and welcoming.
  4. Do not be discriminatory such as being racist, ablest, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic.
  5. Do not bring or consume alcohol and non-prescribed drugs.
