THE APPLICATION PERIOD FOR THE 2022-2023 HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO APRIL 1ST 2023

The Mu Beta Psi Music Service Scholarships are a one-time award of $1000 and $500 each, intended to honor current and incoming collegiate students who have devoted their time and efforts to musical organizations in their community.

Application Process

Applications are accepted between September 15th and March 1st each year, unless otherwise extended. Winners are announced by June 1st and scholarships are distributed to recipients by August 1st.

Eligibility

Only students who will be actively enrolled at an educational institution of the respective Chapters for the semester following award of the scholarship are eligible.*

This scholarship is not designed specifically for music majors. Students of any academic major may apply.

Selection for this scholarship is both service-based and merit-based; Mu Beta Psi shall not discriminate based upon the financial status of any applicant.

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.

Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to music as an art and as an educational subject.

*Brothers of Mu Beta Psi are not eligible.
